Nick Turner of Atlanta Booker T. Washington isn't a man of many words. So when he talked a lot about his visit to UGA this past weekend, you knew that he much of liked it a lot.
"I tell you what I saw a lot of really neat things," Turner said. "I liked it a lot. I've been up there several times to games and camps, but to see what it's like to be on the team was really tight."

Turner said he's not sure when his next trip is going to be. He's set to visit Florida on Jan. 18, but other than that nothing is lined up. He's already visited Maryland back on Nov. 30.
"Auburn is still sort of in the picture," Turner said. "I think Georgia Tech is out since they don't have a coach. I still like Clemson, Miami, Mississippi State, North Carolina and Arkansas, too."
But UGA, Maryland and Florida hold the lead for Turner.
"I liked Maryland a lot," Turner said. "And you know that UGA was tight. I have to check the Gators out before I'm done still."
He said he has been working really hard the past few weeks to improve his GPA and drastically improve his test score.
However, the scores might be too low for him to improve in time to qualify.
"That's the one thing that coaches all ask me about," Turner said. "They all want to know about my grades. I tell them I'm working hard at it every day."
