CLEVELAND – Three hours crammed in a small car was enough for Trotwood Madison linebacker Jamiihr Williams. The 6-foot-2, 226-pounder drove up from the Dayton area to Cleveland for Tuesday's Elite Skills Camp at the Cleveland Browns Stadium, and Williams admits he was ready to get out of the car when he got there.

"It was a long hard ride," Williams said.
"It was tight in the car. We rented a car. One of my teammate's mom got a Malibu. It was real tight. He had the front because his mom go the car, so Roy (Roundtree) and I were crammed in the back. Let's just say it wasn't the most fun 3 hours we've ever had."
But it was an important trip, Williams said. He knew he had to have a good performance at the camp for a number of reasons.
"A lot of schools that are recruiting me say they want to see me in camps, plus I knew that a lot of the schools that are recruiting me were going to be here," he said. "So I had to be here. I also just got my first offers last week, so I thought this would be a good place to come to.
"Plus, I knew the best players were going to be here. I also thought we were going to get to do some one-on-ones. I thought I was going to get to go against the best players and show them what I got. But that's Ok. This was a great event, and I think I did really well."
He definitely did, but that's not a surprise.
Williams is one of the better linebackers in Ohio and he's now starting to get some pretty serious attention from schools all over the Midwest.
"I was waiting for anybody to offer me, and then I got two in the same day," he said. "And then I got another one from Eastern Kentucky at receiver. And then Buffalo offered me on Friday. I have offers from Buffalo, Eastern Kentucky, Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Michigan."
"I like Miami University and Eastern Michigan. I don't know too much about Buffalo, but the coach wants me to come up there and see it. I went to Miami my sophomore year, and everything was new and it was really nice. Eastern Michigan, I like their team and the atmosphere. I went up there for their spring game."
Williams does admit he likes the offers, but wouldn't mind if some bigger schools came calling, which is why his performance on Tuesday was important.
"Right now, I like Illinois, Iowa and most of the Big Ten schools outside of Ohio State," he said. "I don't feel like Ohio State wants a guy like me. I hope I impressed all the coaches today. I showed them everything."
