Top two for three-star TE

Three-star tight end Evan Engram has been impressing on the camp circuit. The Powder Springs (Ga.) Hillgrove prospect continues to add scholarships from schools across the country.
"I have offers from Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Ohio, Air Force, Navy, Georgia State, Elon, Furman, Wofford, South Alabama, Youngstown State, Toledo and Marshall," he said. "I got Toledo and Marshall recently at the Ohio State camp. I also got Ole Miss about two weeks ago."

With all of these new options, Engram confirmed that a couple of schools are standing out.
"I really like Ole Miss," he said. "I've been there twice, spring practice and camp and I can say Ole Miss and Wake Forest are my top two. I'm more familiar with Ole Miss though. I'm just really comfortable there and the coaches are very easy to talk to. I know them well. I've also been talking to one of the quarterbacks that committed there."
Engram is hoping to visit both schools, as well as taking a trip out to California.
"I might visit Wake Forest sometime in July," he said. "I might make a visit back to Mississippi again. My mom came the last two times with me and I might take my dad down too in July. I'm also looking at going up to UCLA this Friday."
Still, what is he looking for in a school?
"First of all, I definitely am looking for what I want education wise if football doesn't work out," he said. "I want an education that I can stand up with for the rest of my life. I don't want to feel out of place, I want to feel at home for the next four years of my life. I also want to play early. Ole Miss and Wake Forest both have opportunities to play early."
Engram helped his team to a perfect 10-0 regular season last fall before falling in the second round of the playoffs. As a junior Engram posted 20 receptions for 250 yards and four touchdowns.
The Georgia tight end gave a quick overview of his game.
"I think I'm a unique kind of player," he said. "I do a lot of things with my size, strength and speed. I'm big enough and strong enough to handle linebackers, but I can beat a cornerback too. I'm kind of an all-around guy, that's the best thing about my skill set."
