Top prospects commit to U.S. Army AA Bowl
Multiple sources have confirmed that six of Rivals.com's top 15 five-star rated recruits are already confirmed to play in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, with more confirmations of top players expected in the near future.

The confirmed players are Oxnard (Calif.) Santa Clara running back Cierre Wood (ranked No. 3 overall by Rivals.com), Greenville (Fla.) Madison defensive tackle Jacobbi McDaniel (No. 5 overall), Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou linebacker Manti Te'o (No. 6 overall), Wichita (Kan.) East running back Bryce Brown (No. 9 overall), Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech defensive tackle William Campbell (No. 10 overall), and Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway linebacker Dorian Bell (No. 14 overall).
In its ninth year, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is a classic East vs. West match-up featuring the nation's top high school football players from across the country. Past alumni include Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson, Vince Young, and Tommie Harris.
The 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl drew a record crowd of 36,534 to the Alamodome, besting the past year's attendance of 35,151. Additionally, the game garnered a 1.8 rating on NBC, up 21 percent from the 2007 game, and it was the highest-rated sports event of the weekend other than the NFL Playoff game.
Recently committed Ohio State Buckeye Terrelle Pryor was MVP of the 2008 game.
Pryor, Rivals.com's No. 1 ranked prospect in the 2008 class, was the unanimous choice for the game's most valuable player, with a game-high 79 yards rushing on 10 carries, to go along with 76 yards passing, giving him a total of a 155 yards of offense with two touchdowns.
