"It was a great feeling because it was my first SEC offer and I always feel good about the SEC," Hammonds said. "So it was a blessing I got it and I felt very good about it. I like the schools because it's a good academic school."
Wednesday it was the home state Arkansas Razorbacks who exteneded an offer. The Razorbacks have been keeping a close eye on Hammonds but it was nice to see the offer placed on the table.
"It felt good because it's my home state," Hammonds said."I grew up watching the football team and I really love the football team and I think it's a great football team."
On Thursday the Big 12 came calling with Oklahoma State extending a scholarship offer.
"I know a little bit," Hammonds said. "I want to do my homework on them and learn more about them. Before I started talking to them they sent me mail and stuff like that about their offense. I really like their offense. It's a good team. After talking with the coach I feel really really good about it."
Shortly after Oklahoma State came TCU.
"The TCU see offer is just a blessing. Coach Luper was just telling me how excited they are and how they like my film . He was saying he'll be watching it tomorrow and will be visiting me soon."
Look for the offers to continue. Arizona is one program showing a significant amount of interest at this moment.
