Casey Toohill committed to Stanford in early August. Once he camped with the Cardinal and received the offer this summer, it was pretty clear that the Pac-12 power was going to be nearly impossible to beat.

The three-star linebacker from San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic committed in August and there are no regrets at all.
"The coaches, the academics and just a beautiful campus (stood out most)," Toohill said. "It's always just been a dream school of mine and for it to come true it was awesome.
"After I went to camp there and met the coaches and worked out with them, I was like this is the place for me."
Toohill is planning at least one unofficial visit to Stanford this season and then he will take his official trip after his senior campaign.
San Diego Cathedral Catholic dropped its season opener but bounced back in a hard-fought victory last weekend against Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian at the Honor Bowl.
Toohill, a 6-foot-3, 231-pound recruit, said he was thrilled with how his team played.
"It's amazing," Toohill said. "Last week we had a tough loss but we came back, we prepared, we conditioned and we were really ready."
And for extra motivation? Toohill heard at halftime that Stanford lost to USC and so he didn't want to finish off the weekend suffering another loss with his current team.
"At halftime I heard they lost so I'm like we better win this game right here because I don't want two losses in one day," Toohill said. "They'll get back in it. They'll be good."
