Three-star ready for road trips

Tere Calloway is taking his first official visit to Southern Mississippi this weekend and the Seattle (Wash.) Prep three-star cornerback is excited about it.
Not only because Calloway will be hitting the road but to a place he's never been before and one that might end up being his future home.

Southern Miss hosts No. 19 Louisville this weekend and Calloway is looking forward to the trip in a big way.
"I know Louisville is a great team right now and I knew it was going to be either for that game or Boise State and I didn't get a chance to get down there this summer so I wanted to get down as soon as possible," Calloway said.
"I'm really looking to see the coaching style of every coach. They want me on the defensive side so I want to see how they coach and I want to see the fan base, how it is down there because I've never been to Mississippi and I also want a chance to talk about some of the academic options."
The only other official visit Calloway has planned is to Nevada the weekend of Oct. 20 when it hosts San Diego State.
That could be another crucial trip for the three-star prospect because he's going with Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea defensive back and close friend Tatum Taylor.
Calloway, who looked good this summer at the B2G Elite Camp, is also strongly considering official visits to SMU, Memphis and Colorado State but nothing else has been planned.
The expectation is that any of those trips - and he's leaning toward SMU more than the others at this point - would be after the season.
Reasoning he's going to possibly pick up more offers, Calloway wants to keep some dates open for official visits. NC State, Vanderbilt and some others continue to show interest.
"If I do get more offers which I'm expecting I would like to keep some dates open so I could take some other visits," Calloway said.
