Three-star OT starting to think visits
Baton Rouge (La.) Scotlandville offensive tackle Dallas Thomas may have had a disappointing senior season on the football field but he still has plenty to look forward to in the future. The three-star prospect has scholarship offers from all over the southeast and now that his season has ended, it will be time for him to narrow in on where he will play his college ball.

"Our season's over with," Thomas said. "Our record was 4-6. It was a disappointing year. I played good. I didn't give up any sacks."
With his football season behind him, Thomas can now think about scheduling some official visits. One school he hopes to make a return trip to is Alabama, a school that he visited for its game against LSU.
"That was a good," he said of the trip. "It's a nice atmosphere down there. That was an unofficial visit though. I'll probably schedule my officials soon. I gotta talk to my mom and all that."
Two schools stand out for Thomas as potential spots for a visit.
"Alabama and Tennessee," he said. "I like them both. I like the atmosphere down at Alabama and I want to play in Neyland Stadium with all the fans and stuff."
Thomas has also developed a good relationship with his recruiting coach for the Volunteers, Trooper Taylor.
"Coach Trooper, Me and him connect real good," he said. "He's just cool with me and stuff. I think he's from here cause he talks all about cooking and all that."
As he begins to schedule his official visits, one factor will be very important in Thomas' decision.
"The graduation rate with football players is important to me," he said. "Of course education is important."
Thomas is rated by Rivals.com as a three-star offensive tackle. At 6-foot-6, he describes his biggest strength as the ability to get out and block on screen passes.
