Three-star CB looking for interest

Three-star cornerback Don Hursey out of Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson is getting caught in a numbers game as Signing Day is quickly approaching. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder held an offer from North Carolina, but what's his status now?
"I heard from North Carolina awhile ago and they said I could set up an official," he said. "I haven't done that yet and I'm guessing they are waiting to see what happens with other players and then they'll get back to me."
In the meantime, other schools are interested in the No. 5 prospect in D.C.
"I'm also hearing from Virginia, Marshall, Kent State, Florida International, Maryland, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt."
Already fully qualified and graduated, Hursey is waiting patiently. He briefly reflected on a few things he wants in a college.
"Basically I want somewhere I can play," he said. "I want to go Division I and play at a good football program and somewhere that needs a tough cornerback."
As a senior, Hursey posted 45 tackles, two forced fumbles, 20 pass breakups and one interception. He added 15 receptions for 500-yards and three touchdowns offensively.
