Thomas still taking visits

La Marque, Texas' uncommitted headliner, safety James Thomas, is going down to the wire with three BCS conference leaders.
Arkansas gets the first shot this weekend with Thomas in regards to an official visit. The 6-foot, 169-pound Thomas was supposed to visit Oklahoma State this past weekend, but his trip was postponed due to weather.

"I really like the Arkansas coaches and they seem to have a great family atmosphere," Thomas said. "I like the SEC."
Thomas will then trip to Oklahoma State before potentially visiting Michigan on January 26th.
"I think the Michigan coaches are coming in this week," he said. "They are back in the picture, but OSU and Arkansas have been with me the longest. Those are my top three.
"I want to go somewhere that I make an impact. OSU thinks I can play right away."
Thomas is rated as the nation's No. 31 safety prospect.
