Things up in the air for Tarrant

Dallas (Texas) Samuel running back Cornell Tarrant is a three-star prospect who is not sure of his plan about recruiting while he attacks his senior season and is trying to put up the kind of numbers he's used to.
Samuel is 2-3, but took home their first district win. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound speedy back is trying to make it a better effort as they move along through district. He can't exactly put his finger on what's been happening.

"It just doesn't feel right," Tarrant said. "We're not at that level yet, but I think we're getting there. I don't know my stats or anything, but it's not what I expected being this far into the season."
One thing he has not thought about much lately is favorites or recruiting. Things are more important on the field rather than off.
"Well, no I don't really have a top five or anything right now," Tarrant said. "I'm basically talking it over with my family right now. I'll say this, I'm very open."
Tarrant holds offers from Baylor, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, and Texas A&M. However, he wants to make a decision soon and visits ever sooner. That is clear.
"I plan on committing soon, at least before the season is over," Tarrant said. "I don't know where I'm going, but I'll know before we get done on the field."
"I'll just have to fit those visits in somewhere soon."
Tarrant is rated as the No. 49 running back in the nation.
