As soon as Simmons walked through the door in Fayetteville, it was clear he was
someone to watch. He immediately caught the attention of eyeballs looking on
during the camp. He is a bigger defensive back and he showed he had some nice
athleticism to go with the look.
Best Feet
OC Jack Sides, Dallas (Texas)
Highland Park
Sides is a little undersized and will likely be headed to center on the college
level. He was able to get the snap off cleanly during one-on-ones and he used
his quick hands to get into defender after defender. Still it was his footwork
that helped him steal the show and keep up with the quickest of the quick at
Houston Baptist's camp on Thursday.
Best Hands
WR Tobias Enlow, North Little
Rock (Ark.)
Enlow is from one of the top programs in Arkansas and he looked the part of a
very reliable receiver at the Arkansas camp. He made great adjustments to the
ball and if he was able to touch the ball chances are he was coming down with
the catch.
Fastest
CB Tre Brown (2017), Tulsa
(Okla.) Union
Kiondre Thomas made a strong run at this one, but Brown gets the nod.
He reported a 4.31 hand-timed 40-yard dash time following the Arkansas camp and
that flat-out flying. It is safe to say he definitely brought the speed to camp.
Underclassmen Achievement
WDE Zachary Gilson (2018),
Sachse (Texas)
Gilson has been working hard on the camp circuit during the offseason and
Thursday night in Dallas he definitely caught some attention. During testing he
showed a great change of direction and as he continues to fill out his big frame
more and more attention will come.
Strongest Arm
QB Terry Wilson, Del City
(Okla.)
Wilson showed he was a very strong athlete, but he also showed he could put some
zip on the ball. He pushed the ball well downfield and he spun the ball very
well throughout the camp to lead all performers in Dallas..
Raised Stock
Bradley-King, Kansas City (Mo.) Hogan
Bradley-King entered the Arkansas camp without any offers, but he showed he
definitely belonged in the discussion. He has a great build and he looked
comfortable on the defensive line. He is a guy to watch going forward.
Ball Hawk
S Kemon Freeman, Texarkana
(Texas) Liberty-Eylau
Freeman was a guy who just made plays. He always seemed to be around the ball
and he never gave up. He made a few nice reads to jump some routes and he did a
great job of putting himself in position to do big things throughout camp.
