Tradionally a basketball school, Wheatley boasts one of the most talented receivers in the area, which is blessed with the big wide-out this season.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Robinson has size for the West Coast passing attack, and the athleticism to be a playmaker after the catch.
"Arizona is on top for me right now," Robinson said. "Coach Eric Wolford is recruiting me and I think he likes what I can bring."
Robinson was a first-team, all-district selection with his acrobatic catches. It doesn't hurt that he plays hoops during the offseason, which helps his body positioning when going up for balls.
"I'm working on getting bigger and running better routes right now," he said. "I'm also the rightfielder for our baseball team, which made the playoffs. I've been keeping pretty busy."
With quality grades to complement his athletic ability, Robinson is looking for his recruitment to begin picking up as college coaches find his high school campus.
He's hoping to see and hear from the likes of Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Arizona, Michigan and LSU.
