Texas WR adds new offer

Garland (Texas) South Garland wide receiver Raimond Pendleton has added another to his list of schools that have offered full-ride scholarships.
“Utah has offered this month,” the 6-foot, 182-pound Pendleton said. “That is the only new thing. That gives me six offers so far. I’m just trying to learn as much as I can about the schools.”

Despite the offers to several schools, Pendleton is not any closer to making a decision.
“I am no closer to a decision. I want to make my decision after the season is over. I don’t want to rush it. I will start to try and set up my official visits before long. I don’t know which ones I will visit yet.”
During the summer, Pendleton took unofficial visits to three schools this summer for camps and unofficial visits.
“I took visits to Oklahoma State, Florida State and TCU this summer. They were like for miniature camps and a small visit on the side. It gave me a chance to see the schools and get an idea of what is out there.”
South Garland opens the season on Friday against Plano West.
“We should win,” he said. “It will be a good game, and I think we are ranked 11th and I think they are like 16th. I’m really looking forward to playing the game.”
