Fort Worth-Paschal wide receiver Jaylon Robinson has been committed to Texas Tech Since the end of last fall, but that hasn’t kept others from trying to snatch him away from the Red Raiders.
This upcoming weekend, he will visit SMU for the Mustangs spring football game. Last month Robinson’s teammate, linebacker Jalen Rispress committed to SMU.
After this weekend, he make a visit to Arizona State. Robinson said that if he were to gauge how hard each program was recruiting him right now, he’d put them both at ‘eight-out-of-ten.’
“I’m just looking forward to getting on campus, finding out what programs they have and getting familiar with the coaches,” he said. “SMU is one of my favorites, they’re in my top-three right now.”
Prior to his appearance in last the Rivals Three Stripe Camp presented by Adidas, Robinson was in Frisco for Tech’s spring football game.

RIVALS REACTION
Robinson’s plans to take visits may be unsettling news to Tech fans, but he was quick to mention that he’s been on campus in Lubbock at least six times since his commitment. If SMU is in a top-tree and perhaps it can be assumed Arizona State is as well, he’s still clear as to who is in the front of the line.
“I’m open, I’m here to listen,” he said. “Tech is still my number-one right now and I’m committed.”
Robinson also said that he has no immediate plans to make any sort confirmation about his current commitment or otherwise, but he did mention that he was interested in taking official visits this fall.
