Texas RB holds two offers

Dallas (Texas) Samuel running back Cornell Tarrant is picking up a lot of attention from schools and the phone didn't wait to start ringing earlier this week.
"I'm hearing from Texas, Kansas State, Colorado State, Indiana, Houston, SMU, UTEP, Kansas and Duke right now," the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Tarrant said. "I have two scholarship offers right now. Kansas State and UTEP have offered."

With two offers sitting in his home already, Tarrant is not in a hurry to make a college selection.
"I have no favorite at this point. I don't even have a top five. I am just learning what I can about all of the schools. I'll learn more at some of the camps this summer. I will go to some camps, but right now, I just don't know where."
Tarrant received calls from Texas, Duke and Kansas already this week.
"Texas coach Bruce Chambers was the first to call," Tarrant said. "That was Monday. Then after them, Duke called and then Coach (Dave) Doeren from Kansas called. I had good talks with all of them."
Tarrant played both ways for Samuel last season as a running back on offense and an outside linebacker on defense. He rushed for 951 yards on 117 carries and scored 11 touchdowns.
