Texas kicker picks up first offer

Things appear to have started hot for Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley kicker Adi Kunalic. The 6-foot, 175-pounder has picked up first scholarship offer and is hearing from others in and around the state of Texas.
Kunalic, who returns as a senior to being one of the top kicker prospects in the Lone Star state, was a first-team all-district selection during his junior season. With his first offer in hand, colleges seem to agree.

"I think it was last Friday, but that's when UConn offered me," Kunalic said. "I'm still finishing my junior year, so I have a lot of time to go. I haven't even looked up any information on the school yet. The offer came out of nowhere."
The talented young man expects several more offers to come his way before the recruiting process is done. Stanford and Colorado State are showing quite a bit of interest.
"Stanford is one that could be very soon," Kunalic said. "CSU has been talking to me a lot too. I'm getting a lot of letters.
"I'm just wide open about all of this because I don't know how many offers I'm actually going to get. My family isn't wealthy, so I'm looking for the best educational value that I can get."
