Lufkin, Texas, three-star cornerback Darrius Terry took an official visit to Louisiana Tech this weekend and according to his coach, John Outlaw, it was a visit he won't forget any time soon.
Outlaw said Terry committed on the visit, and Terry later confirmed he is heading to Tech to play college football.
"I had a really good time on my visit, and I think it's the right place for me," Terry said. "I committed while I was up there."
Terry was also recruited by Missouri, Oklahoma State, North Texas and had an offer also from Tulsa. The 6-foot, 190-pounder is considered one of the best defensive players in East Texas.
He's ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 22 cornerback in the nation.
