Tell up to six offers

Word got out early that Marvell Tell could be one of the top 2015 prospects in California and in the last few weeks his recruitment has taken off.
The defensive back from Encino (Calif.) Crespi has looked good at numerous 7on7 tournaments with B2G and most recently the 6-foot-1, 174-pound recruit was offered by USC.

A call from assistant coach Ed Orgeron sealed it a few days ago.
"It's really great," Tell said. "My family and I were really excited. It's great that such a big school is interested in me.
"They've been recruiting me for a couple weeks. Coach Orgeron called me on the phone and he told me that he has great news and that they wanted to offer me and I was just really excited."
USC is a big offer but it's not the only one for Tell, who has also landed Cal, Miami, Nebraska, UCLA and Washington State offers as well.
Because things are just taking off in his recruitment, Tell said he wants to take the process slowly since others could get involved. More than likely, that will happen.
The Encino Crespi star said some colleges have been by the school in recent weeks during the spring evaluation period but it's just been preliminary conversations.
At this point, Tell is pleased with how his recruitment has picked up and he just wants to take his time because his junior season has not even started.
"I just want to hold off on committing," Tell said. "I want to go through the whole recruiting process and enjoy it and wait until my senior year to make that big decision."
