Tarrants first trip done, three to go

It was a short trip up the road for Dallas (Texas) Samuell running back Cornell Tarrant to make his first official visit this weekend to SMU.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound three-star back made his way to the hometown school and even though it was the first trip, things went well.

"It was fine and I was able to feel comfortable," Tarrant said. "I felt like I could fit in at SMU really fast. That is if I would to go there. It's not that big of a school though so that was one of the only things I didn't like."
Tarrant says closeness to home is not a huge factor.
"I can't say that, because I've got to take my visits first," Tarrant said. "Wherever I feel most comfortable is going to be the biggest thing. That's where I'm going to go and then I can tell you what all my factors are."
Texas A&M was said to be a favorites, but Tarrant says he's staying open.
"I really don't have a favorite right now," Tarrant said. "I'm looking forward to all of the trips including the one to Texas A&M."
