Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson all-purpose back Rashaun Grant is the No. 1 player at his position. And when it comes to making a college decision, it's now a done deal.

"I committed to Georgia Tech this weekend on my visit," Grant, who is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, said.

"It was just the right combination of everything for me - football, academics, social life. Atlanta was awesome and so was Georgia Tech.

"I'm really excited now."

Grant picked Tech over Miami, Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Northwestern, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

"I'm done with this," he said. "It's over for me. I'm committed and happy with it."
