Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline two-star receiver Derrick Stewart has been doing everything he can to help his team out. Unfortunately, playing quarterback, receiver and a little bit of defense hasn’t been enough to keep his team from falling to a 4-3 record on the season.
“We’ve just had some let downs on defense,” Stewart, who is 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, said. “We’re getting better and better each week, but we’ve not been able to pull out the victory. I’ve been playing quarterback, receiver and trying to do everything I can do.”
Stewart still continues to look at everything on the recruiting front. With offers on the table from Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Akron and Toledo, he’s still not lined up any official visits at this point.
“I got a new call last week from Bowling Green,” Stewart said. “They haven’t offered me yet, so we’ll see what happens with that. I still really like Wisconsin, but I’m also looking at all of my options.”
