Rivals four-star DL Christian Ingram took his decision down the wire.

After visits to South Carolina and USC over the past two weekends, Rivals' No. 30-ranked DL in the 2025 class out of Georgia wrestled back and forth between choosing the Gamecocks and Trojans.

On National Signing Day, Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks came out with another huge recruiting victory as Ingram signed on the dotted line.

"Seeing the defensive line attack in person was crazy," Ingram told Rivals after officially visiting Columbia last month. "I loved it. I can see myself fitting into that scheme. Their staff is one of the realest and they have the coolest people I met in college so far."

Kentucky and USC were the two SEC teams battling the Gamecocks for Ingram. USC hosted the 6-foot-6, 285-pound DL from Covington (Ga.) Newton High School last.

Beamer and the Gamecocks continue to bump shoulders toward the finish line.

Ingram loves what the future holds in Columbia.

"Their future excites me the most," Ingram asserted. "They continue to get better and better."

"I have a completely different look at them now," he explained. I just didn’t realize how genuine and real the staff is over there. They go by all the rules, they really take care of you there. The culture there is to work hard, take care of your brothers, and attack the day every day ... I live by that standard."

South Carolina's Travian Robertson broke down the Rivals four-star defensive lineman's path to the field, which also caught Ingram's attention.

"Coach T-Rob would love to coach me," he started. "They're losing a couple of DL guys and I can fill some of the space with my talent and skill-set. With how well their offense is clicking along with how dominant the defense has been, it’s going to be crazy."
