Soph making the rounds

Sophomore Ahmir Mitchell has been slowly making some visits. The 2016 prospect from Egg Harbor City (N.J.) Cedar Creek recently visited Penn State for the Nebraska game.
"The game was good," said the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Mitchell. "It was a nice atmosphere to be around. I was talking to the head coach. I saw the weight room and took a tour of the college. This is my first time out to Penn State."

A few weeks before, Mitchell visited Boston College. There are a few things about each school he liked.
"The academics and campus are really nice at Penn State but the weather at Boston College is a little better," he said. "The atmosphere at Penn State was like nothing I had ever seen before."
Mitchell and Cedar Creek are almost finished with their season and there are still some other visits Mitchell is looking to set up.
"I may be going down to Temple," Mitchell said. "I could get back up to Boston College to see the campus. I want to go back to Penn State too. I just started getting recruited by Ohio State so I might take a trip up there."
Mitchell's brother is Damon Mitchell, a 2013 prospect that committed to Arkansas.
