Some more interest for Wicker

Joseph Wicker committed to Washington really early in his recruitment.
Shortly after that decision, the 2015 defensive end from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly decided to reopen things and now he plans to wait much longer to make his next commitment.

Wicker, a 6-foot-3, 260-pound recruit, wants to remain patient, see what happens as things move forward and make his choice much closer to the end of his high school career.
"I'm taking it slow," Wicker said. "I'm not committing or intend to commit until the end of my high school career."
So far, Washington, Arizona and Miami have offered the Long Beach Poly standout. The Wildcats are his newest offer. He said there has not been a bunch of interest coming in but Cal and Tennessee have reached out recently.
At this point, Wicker said his focus is on his junior season. Poly is coming off a big win against Corona (Calif.) Centennial and that he's going to take his time with recruiting.
Another big contest against Bakersfield is coming up this weekend so Wicker wants concern himself with his team and put the recruiting process on the backburner.
"After that loss last week (to Anaheim Servite) I just wanted to come out here and get that win," Wicker said.
"Last week we played a similar offense. The reason we lost was because the defensive line wasn't going up the field. We changed our game plan and we made plays."
