The Latest: It's been quite a month for Class of 2017 offensive lineman Mason Langley, first he won a state championship, then he received five offers in just a two week span and recently he was named as an All-State selection. And while his offer list has gone from zero to five in a very short time, he's still hoping to break through with an FBS offer to add to his list of FCS powers like Jacksonville State, Chattanooga and Samford. So which school might put him over the hump? Rivals.com caught up with him to get the latest on his recruitment.

In His Words: "All my coaches are expecting some bigger offers. I played well in the state championship game and we’ve been getting good feedback from coaches. I’m talking to Arizona State right now. They pulled my transcript and stuff so I think I might be getting an offer from them. I don't know a lot about them but that would be a big offer for me. I think I fit in pretty good to their offense. We run sort of a zone-blocking offense so the steps and my role would be kind of similar. But I think I can adapt to any type of offense.

On going far from home for an FBS offer compared to staying close to play FCS: "I really don’t know if I want to stay home yet of or if I want to go away. I’ve still go to give it some more thought and see what will be best."

Rivals Reaction: There are linemen like Langley that emerge late in the process every year in the Southeast and with the momentum he has, it looks like he could find a late FBS home. It's too early to say whether or not it will be with the Sun Devils, but it's clear the school is doing its due diligence to try to identify under the radar prospects.
