Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson cornerback Marvin Clecidor is a relatively new name in recruiting circles that is beginning that has picked up two offers already and now has two new ACC schools interested.
“I have offers from Rutgers and Illinois still right now,” Clecidor said. “Georgia Tech and North Carolina called me for the first time this week and told me that they were interested in me.”
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Clecidor runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, has a 290-pound bench press, a 415-pound squat and a 35-inch vertical jump.
“I would say that right now North Carolina has definitely moved into my top three,” Clecidor said. “I think North Carolina could go even higher on my list, especially if they offered. Right now I know I want to take an official visit to North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana and Central Florida.”
An excellent academic student Clecidor sports a 3.9 GPA and projects as a full-qualifier.
