As can be expected, the last Rivals250 is always the one with the most changes. With numerous all-star events as well as senior film rolling into the Rivals.com offices, the opportunity to re-evaluate prospects is at an all-time high during the recruiting cycle.
Led by Hawaii guard Stanley Hasiak, who makes his entrance into the 250 at No. 108 based on outstanding performances at the Hawaii Prep Classic and at the Under Armour All-American Game, there are plenty of additions to the final list.
In addition to Hasiak, from Kapolei (Hawaii) High, four other players made their Rivals250 debut inside the top 200. D'Iberville (Miss.) High wide receiver Kevin Norwood is 147th, Bastrop (La.) High defensive tackle Josh Downs is 161st, Dayton (Texas) High quarterback Cody Green is 173rd and McDonough (Ga.) Henry County wide receiver Jamal Patterson is 183rd.
Others enter the Rivals250 a bit lower than those previously mentioned.
Mayo (Fla.) Lafayette County athlete Jamal Reid was one of the best players at the Under Armour All-American Game and is ranked 210th in the nation. Two spots below Reid is Toledo (Ohio) St. John's offensive lineman Jack Mewhort. One spot behind Mewhort is St. Stephen (S.C.) Timberland guard Quinton Washington.
Rounding out the Rivals250 additions are three offensive prospects and a talented defensive tackle. Meridian (Miss.) High quarterback Tyler Russell checks in at No. 217, Parker (Colo.) Chaparral offensive tackle Jack Harris is ranked 223rd, Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy wide receiver Joshua Adams, who already is enrolled at North Carolina, is 231st and Salt Lake City Highland defensive tackle Latu Heimuli checks in at No. 250.
In addition to the new members of the Rivals250, a few players moved up quite a bit. Among the biggest movers was Destrehan (La.) High defensive tackle Darrington Sentimore (from No. 215 up to No. 126), Tucson (Ariz.) Palo Verde Magnet athlete Adam Hall (from No. 243 to No. 152), West Springfield (Va.) High quarterback Bryn Renner (from No. 198 to No. 111) and Tallahassee (Fla.) Leon wide receiver James Green (from No. 232 to No. 123).
