Second offer on the way for Texas QB

Lake Travis, Texas, quarterback Todd Reesing picked up his first scholarship offer earlier this spring and it appears a second offer isn't too far away for the dual-threat signal caller.
"Last week I was at K-State's football camp," the 6-foot, 180-pound Reesing said. "It was real nice to be able to do some of the things they do. They are a little different than what we do. We go out of the shotgun a lot and in the camp, we did more their style of offense where the quarterback drops back in a lot of four or five-step drops.

"After the camp was over, I dropped by KU while I was that close. I met with Coach (Mark) Mangino. He said they would be sending me an offer really soon. That would be the second offer I have. Both coaching staffs and the facilities at both schools were really good."
Reesing plans on a few more football camps before the summer is over.
"At the end of June, I am going to Purdue, Northwestern and then to Duke. They all came down in the spring and saw me. I've talked to the coaches quite a bit. They want to see me in action in their camps. Maybe after the camps they might offer me a scholarship. We'll see how it goes."
A decision could come this summer for Reesing.
"I have considered making my decision before school starts. I'm not rushing anything, but if I feel there is a good fit, then I will go a head. I don't have a favorite school right now. They are really good academic schools and good football schools. I just want to see what they all have to offer me and then find the best place for me."
As a junior, Reesing threw for 3,150 yards and 29 touchdowns. He rushed for 350 yards and five touchdowns.
