Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge quarterback Chase Patton continues to watch his stock rise this spring as more and more schools become involved.

“I have several scholarship offers and some schools that haven’t offered yet but act very interested,” the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Patton said. “Missouri, Kansas State, Tennessee, Georgia, Wyoming, Iowa and Kansas have offered me already. Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame have all expressed interest so far.”
Despite all of the early offers, don’t expect an early decision from Patton.
“I’m not set on making an early decision. I hope to take all my visits this fall. But, if something jumps out and me and I know it is the place this summer, then I’ll go ahead.”
What is the talented signal caller looking for?
“I want to go somewhere that I can get a good education. That is first. I also want to see what kind of offense the team runs. I want to know that I can fit in with what they run.”
Patton plans a busy June with summer camps keeping him busy.
“I’m going to Notre Dame’s camp. Then I’ll go to one day sessions at Tennessee, Michigan and Purdue. Those are the ones I’m planning on at this point.”
