Roberts talks Nebraska, recruiting expectations

Running back Grahm Roberts knows that certain recruiting expectations exist because of a sibling.

Yes, his older brother Avery, a four-star prospect, is committed to Nebraska. Yes, Grahm Roberts, who already holds an offer from the Huskers, knows a certain segment of people expect him to follow suit. Still, the class-of-2018 says his recruitment is by no means over.

But is Nebraska the leader? On that, he doesn’t seem to have a firm stand.

“I don’t have a favorite yet,” Grahm Roberts said. “I know, I know … but I don’t have one. I haven’t even been up there 9to Nebraska) yet. I mean, if that’s the right school for me, I’ll go there. But if not, I won’t.”

And so the Wilmington (Del.) Concord High School standout will wait to see how things shake out. His options could expand in the coming year, and he’s certainly waiting for them to do so.

“I’ve only visited Maryland and Temple right now, but they haven’t offered yet,” Grahm Roberts said.

IN HIS WORDS: "Syracuse was the last offer I got,” Roberts said. “They have a great staff up there. I just want to get up there and meet them.”

RIVALS RECAP: The Roberts brothers have played on the same team at every level of football, so it’s hard to imagine that streak breaking now. Grahm Roberts won’t sign a letter of intent until February of 2018, so a lot can change as his offer list grows. Still, should his brother sign with Nebraska as expected, the Cornhuskers will be mighty hard to beat.
