RIVALS' REACTION...

Gallagher's addition to West Virginia's roster could pay immediate dividends. There is an opportunity for early playing time and Gallagher is angling to get on the field right away. Gallagher is quick twitch and has enough straight line speed to give quarterbacks a window to get him the ball. He'll have to mature physically before seeing the field consistently but his skill set should fit in well with the West Virginia offense.

Landing Gallagher is a big deal for West Virginia off the field as well. Penn State had been considered the leader for Gallagher up until recently. Pittsburgh and Notre Dame were also serious contenders.
