HOUSTON , Tex. -- Rivals250 safety Jamal Morris has yet to release a specific commitment date, but it’s clear that whenever it’s going to be, it’s going to be soon.
Morris will be part of a star-studded group of players at Oklahoma this weekend for the Sooners spring game, and there has been a growing feeling that he could be leaning more and more towards a future in Crimson and Cream. Perhaps that ends up being the case, but he also has an official visit scheduled to Texas on May 4
“I feel good,” he said. “I feel like when I make my decision, I’m done. I still want to have taken these last visits just in case I want to change my mind, but I feel confident.”
With a decision looming, Morris said he’s been hearing from everyone giving him the sales pitch as to which program he should ultimately choose. Oklahoma should feel as though its getting the best crack at landing him, as it’s the only official visit he’s taking that includes a spring game, but it seems as though there are other things that he’s looking forward to that may weigh a bit heavier with him.
“If it’s a full house there, it’s not like I’m going to be shocked,” he said. “I feel that if the spring game gets packed like that, that is something to look at.”
