STOCK UP

Jerry Jeudy looked like a five-star prospect and a surefire MVP during the event’s morning session. He was the most dominant wide receiver in one-on-one work. He cooled a bit in the afternoon and tired out during 7-on-7 play, so the debate over where he should be ranked will still likely be heated. That said, it was clear that Jeudy is better than his current standing in the Rivals250.

Navaughn Donaldson made his statement by beating top-ranked prospect Marvin Wilson in a handful of one-on-one reps and also took down other top-flight defensive linemen. The Miami Central High School prospect took on the best the camp had to offer and ended up on the winning end more times than not. Donaldson was one of the largest linemen at the event, but also showed off a level of footwork and agility that took a lot of people off guard.

Cam Akers has been flirting with five-star status for some time now, and Saturday’s event may have put him over the top. Akers has an impressive build and devastating acceleration. Akers was hard to stop in one-on-one drills and would have taken home MVP honors if it weren’t for a dominant performance by five-star prospect Najee Harris. Akers is a versatile back that that could easily be weapon in the passing game in addition to carrying the ball at the next level.

Cade Mays is one of the toughest offensive linemen you'll ever meet, despite his baby-faced appearance and laid back personality. Once the whistle blows, he sets out to not only win reps, but dominate them. He spent the weekend tossing some of the highest ranked players aside and showed excellent strength and technique to go along with impressive size. Mays would like to play tackle at the next level and has impressive versatility, but right now he looks like a future elite player at the guard position.

Adrian Ealy is already ranked relatively high in the Rivals250, but he showed that he might be deserving of a bump even higher in the rankings. Because of his size and length, he's high on several schools' boards and he has shown continued improvement at every major event he attends. As his technique continues to improve, Ealy will be a guy that should flourish under quality college coaching.

STOCK DOWN

James Robinson struggled to get separation against elite defensive backs. And while he still flashed the strong hands and impressive athleticism for which he’s become known, his routes and cuts were anything but crisp. He was quiet during 7-on-7 work and never really wowed during one-on-one drills. Robinson’s height and athleticism still make him a prospect with massive upside, but he needs to become more consistent and explosive.

When Robert Beal participated in the camp, he showed impressive flashes, including winning one rep in impressive fashion. Unfortunately, he took just two one-on-one reps in the morning and then missed the entire evening session with an injury. Beal has the athleticism you look for in an edge rusher, but he has yet to dominate a major event against elite competition, electing to take only a few reps at every event. With his recent transfer to IMG Academy, it will be interesting to watch how his development continues into the fall.
