Antonio Alfano - Ole Miss

A former five-star prospect who originally signed with Alabama, Alfano has dealt with some off-field issues but is finally back at Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna College and reportedly landing some major offers. This will be a chance for Ole Miss to really impress Alfano, who has power, toughness and size to make an impact early. Schools from across the country are back involved with him, but the environment in Oxford should be great for Alfano to see.

Terrell Anderson - Georgia

Flip watch? The three-star receiver from Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley has been committed to NC State since August but Georgia is seemingly making a bigger push to land him, and Anderson will be in Athens this weekend. With NC State averaging less than 200 passing yards per game and the Bulldogs calling, this one could get interesting.

*****

Anthony Carrie - NC State

When Carrie committed to Michigan State in June the situation was much different. The Spartans are now looking for a new coach after the dismissal of coach Mel Tucker. NC State has been actively recruiting the Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day four-star running back for some time, along with others across the country. Carrie committed to the Spartans over North Carolina, but now it looks like NC State has a real shot of flipping him.

KJ Lacey - Alabama

The 2025 four-star quarterback remains happily committed to Texas, but he keeps showing up to visits across the SEC, and this is a return trip to Alabama. Maybe he’s going for the ambiance of a great football game between the Crimson Tide and LSU. Maybe he’s going with Saraland, Ala., teammate and Bama commit Ryan Williams. But going back to Tuscaloosa again will be something to watch, especially with other top quarterbacks coming as well.

*****

George MacIntyre - Alabama

The chatter is that Alabama is starting to separate itself from Tennessee, LSU and UCLA as the top contender in MacIntyre’s recruitment, but the 2025 four-star quarterback will be doing a little double-dipping on Saturday as he see two of his favorites on the same field. The Crimson Tide are definitely in strong shape with the Brentwood (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy standout, but does MacIntyre’s thinking get altered if LSU comes in and plays great?

*****

Demarcus Riddick - Alabama

Will Riddick actually show up in Tuscaloosa? The rumor has been the high four-star linebacker and Auburn commit was going to take visits this season but then ended up back at Auburn - or not taking visits at all. However, this is the LSU-Alabama game and there are a ton of elite recruits going to Tuscaloosa. It’s no secret that the Crimson Tide are trying to flip the Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County standout, so getting him to show up is the first step.

*****

Jordan Seaton - Colorado

First-year Colorado coach Deion Sanders made it as clear as possible after the loss to UCLA that the Buffaloes are in desperate need of offensive linemen. Enter Seaton, who is the top-rated offensive lineman in the 2024 class and is still open about numerous schools in his recruitment. Seaton will be in Boulder this weekend, and while it still feels like a long shot with Alabama, Ohio State and others pursuing, Seaton does think a little out of the box, so it’s something that could end up happening.

*****

Jeremiah Smith - Florida

For someone who remains committed to Ohio State, the five-star receiver sure is taking lots of trips to Florida. Smith has developed a strong bond with Florida QB commit DJ Lagway and a bunch of coaches, so getting back to Gainesville for an early kick against Arkansas is something to watch. The word I’ve gotten is that if Ohio State finishes strong that Smith should remain in the class, although the future of position coach Brian Hartline (and whether he gets a head coaching job elsewhere) is something to watch. Florida and Florida State look best positioned if Smith doesn’t go to Columbus.

*****

Jahkeem Stewart - Alabama

Georgia has been rumored to be the early leader for the elite 2026 five-star defensive lineman, but Stewart is from New Orleans St. Augustine and LSU doesn’t miss on many freak shows from down the road. Stewart would be a five-star in the 2024 class, that’s how impressive he is on the football field, and both Alabama and LSU have made him a top priority. This is going to be a big weekend for Stewart to get back to Tuscaloosa and experience that environment.

*****

Joseph Stone Jr. - Louisville

After an early commitment to LSU didn’t work out, the four-star athlete from Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes came back on the market in mid-October, and he will be at Louisville this weekend after a trip to UCF in recent days. Texas, FSU, Penn State and the Tigers remain under serious consideration, but there have been some rumors this week that the Cardinals are now way out in front, so a big visit could possibly lead to a pledge.
