TOP TEAM WITH COMMITS: North Carolina, Alabama, LSU

After reshuffling the deck, five-star Zach Rice is now the No. 3 offensive tackle in the country and recently pledged to North Carolina over Virginia. North Carolina coach Mack Brown has stockpiled talent out of Virginia in recent years and the addition of the five-star lineman has bolstered the Tar Heels to a top-10 recruiting haul.

Alabama holds pledges from two of the nation's best offensive lineman – recent riser Elijah Pritchett, a top-100 overall prospect, and also Rivals250 guard Tyler Book, who offers position flexibility along the line. The Tide can bolster this haul with a shot at Rivals100 tackle Kiyuanta Goodwin and five-star guard Devon Campbell.

Despite the coaching change, Brian Kelly has some strong foundational pieces along the line in LSU's 2022 class. Rivals100 tackle Will Campbell capped an impressive senior year and will be signing with the Tigers early, competing for a spot in the starting lineup as early as this spring. Rivals250 guard Emery Jones, who is also position-versatile, reaffirmed his commitment to LSU and will sign in February.

PLAYER ON THE RISE: Elijah Pritchett

One of the nation's biggest risers following an in-person evaluation was Alabama four-star offensive tackle commitment Elijah Pritchett, who vaulted from just outside the Rivals100 to No. 31 in the nation. The Peach State product committed to the Crimson Tide at the beginning of the fall. He joins fellow Alabama commitments such as quarterback Ty Simpson and Shawn Murphy as top 50 players in the country.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Kiyaunta Goodwin

The massive Kentucky commitment up front has slid into the No. 4 spot among offensive tackles and will draw the eyes of the entire national analyst team at the All-American Bowl as one of the possible five-star candidates in this cycle.

Goodwin has made his way to Florida State, Texas A&M, Michigan State and Michigan. Alabama is also heavily in pursuit, too, which should make for some interesting drama down the stretch for this SEC commitment.
