1. Who will end up as the top-ranked QB in Ohio?

The quarterback battle in the state of Ohio is going to be a great one to watch as this 2025 class develops. Ryan Montgomery has been the No. 1 quarterback in the state and one of the highest-ranked quarterbacks in this class since the rankings cycle began, but Ohio State commit Tavien St. Clair jumped up the rankings in a big way in this update.

Montgomery was very good at multiple events this offseason, but St. Clair is an increasingly impressive prospect who has shown a lot of progress over the last year. If he continues to develop at this rate, he could surpass Montgomery before the rankings cycle is finished.

2. Can Harlem Berry join an elite fraternity of Louisiana running backs?

Former five-star Leonard Fournette signed with LSU in the 2014 class and finished No. 1 in the Louisiana state rankings that year. Former five-star Derrius Guice nearly finished atop the state ranking in the following year, but no running back since then has come close to finishing in that No. 1 spot.

Harlem Barry has a chance to be that next running back to finish No. 1 in Louisiana state rankings, joining only Fournette and former five-star Joe McKnight in 2007. There is some stiff competition for Berry to hold off before all is said and done, but at this point it looks like Berry has the inside track to be the first running back to finish No. 1 in the state since Fournette.

3. Where will the great offensive linemen from Nevada land?

It's not often high school offensive lines look like the one Las Vegas Bishop Gorman will field this year. Five-star Douglas Utu and his Rivals250 teammates SJ Alofaituli and Alai Kalaniuvalu will pretty much have their choice of college teams before all is said and done. Where they will all land is the biggest question.

It's still early in the recruiting process and none of the three have really tipped their hand just yet. USC and Oklahoma are in a strong position for Utu, and the Trojans have also done well with Alofaituli. Utah is expected to be heavily involved with Alofaituli as well. The Utes have done a good job with Kalaniuvalu early in the process, too.

Each of these three coveted prospects will take their fair share of visits, so a lot can change down the road, but if one team were able to sign all three it would make for one outstanding haul.
