It was a great day for the defensive backs, and Broiles was the top of the class. He intercepted multiple passes during one-on-ones and played with an edge. In the pass-happy Big 12, Broiles looks like a future star capable of slowing down even the best wide receivers.

Wilson started this rankings cycle as the No. 1 player in the class and he seems hell bent on getting that spot back in time for the final rankings. The dominant defensive lineman made easy work of some of the best offensive linemen during one-on-ones and looks poised to have a massive impact in Sunday’s game. Wilson is undecided and schools like LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Florida State are pulling out all the stops to land him.

Hainsey had his best day on Friday and won nearly every one-on-one rep he took. His commitment is big for a Notre Dame program looking for any sort of hope for the season ahead. His pledge signifies his confidence in the current staff, which is beginning to come under question by fans and media alike.

If you ask anyone around the Alabama program, they will tell you that Wills has the same type of potential to play early that past five-stars Jonah Williams and Cameron Robinson showed. With Robinson headed to the NFL, it wouldn’t be outlandish to think that Wills gets a chance to crack the lineup early in Tuscaloosa.

It wasn’t a great start to the week for Poole, who seemed to still be adjusting to the competition level. But on Friday he came into his own, winning reps while playing with an attitude. Georgia is in need of help on defense. and the thought is that Poole will have a chance to help early.

Donaldson recently shut his recruitment down despite a massive push from Florida State and others. His commitment is key to a possible Miami resurgence because of the message it sends. The Hurricanes are starting to be seen as a team on the rise, and its ability to protect a hometown player like Donaldson advances that narrative.

Stevens is an LSU commit who will sign with the Tigers on Singing Day. He’s playing out of position at the Under Armour game but looks impressive at wide receiver despite being a natural safety. Stevens’ acceleration will serve him well at LSU, which has a proud tradition of producing defensive backs.

Solidly committed to LSU, Deculus’ style fits a skill-rich LSU roster. He’s a run blocking offensive lineman that gets a push relatively easily. If LSU continues its tradition of impressive running backs, Deculus should be set up for college success.

Brennan recently solidified his commitment to LSU after having a brief look around following the school’s coaching change. He’s a bit reminiscent of current Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph in the way that he is an effective distributer that can make plays with his feet from time to time. Brennan isn’t always the most consistent player on the field but his flashes are as impressive as anyone’s .

The game is loaded with highly ranked tight ends, but Marwede, a Duke commitment, turned a lot of heads on Friday. Over the past few years it’s been common for Duke commits to give a pledge early and go off the radar until they end up on campus, but Marwede let his play do the talking during practice.

Hill is a dynamic athlete at the quarterback position who impressed on Friday with his ability to distribute the ball to playmakers. Maryland doesn’t have a prospect with his skillset on the roster, and he looks like he could have an early impact in College Park. He’s the type of quarterback that can lure other playmakers as well, so his impact could be on the field and on the recruiting trail.

Leatherwood looks like an NFL player as it is and should help his pro stock by attending Alabama, where he’ll protect a quarterback that can run in Jalen Hurts. Leatherwood says he is considering other schools but will almost certainly sign with the Crimson Tide.
