Defending state champion Edna Karr has an array of talented receivers headlining its offense and Banks is a name garnering recruiting momentum. Banks, a 5-foot-8, 153-pound athlete clocked a 4.8 40 with a 4.48 5-10-5 shuttle and 27.6 vertical. McNeese and Tulane have already extended offers and Nicholls will get a visit from Banks on Wednesday.

The 2021 athlete from nearby Landry-Walker posted one of the fastest 40 times with a brisk 4.62. Brown, at 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds, also clocked a 4.3 5-10-5 shuttle with an impressive 10.3 broad jump and 31.6 vertical. Brown has garnered looks from Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Tulane.

The 2022 running back from John Ehret is getting early looks from Louisville and Kentucky — and for good reason. The soon-to-be junior clocked a 4.8 40 time with a 9.1 broad jump and 6.6 three-cone. His stock is on the rise entering the spring.

Running backs are a staple of the offense at John Curtis and Gabriel, a 2023 prospect, is the next up. The 5-foot-7, 150-pound prospect clocked a 9-second three-cone drill with a 4.81-second 5-10-5 shuttle. Expect programs to start taking looks at Gabriel as he assimilates to the offense this fall.

Next up on the Landry-Walker defense is Martin, a long (6-foot-2, 195-pound), impressive-looking defender who clocked 4.7 40 time with a 4.49 5-10-5 shuttle. He also managed a 30-plus-inch vertical and 10.7 broad jump.

The 2021 linebacker out of Lafayette turned heads with a 4.6-second 40 and a 4.18 5-10-5 shuttle to go along with a 7.46-second three-cone and 31.3 vertical. Maze is garnering a lot of attention early on from Louisiana-Lafayette and will visit with Billy Napier next weekend.

Stoudmire-Davis is creating some serious hype at nearby powerhouse John Curtis as the next difference-maker on offense. The do-it-all athlete has strong interest from Arizona State as well as Tulane to go along with an early offer from Nicholls State. He posted a 10.6 broad jump and 27-inch vertical with a 4.42 5-10-5 shuttle time.

Walker is a prospect to make note of this spring as the evaluation period inches closer. The 6-foot-2, 164-pound safety clocked a 4.9-second 40 to go along with a 4.3-second 5-10-5 shuttle. Walker has yet to land an offer, but should see his recruitment pick up in the coming weeks.
