CLASS OF 2019 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | State | Position | Team

1. KYREN WILLIAMS

The situation: Is he a running back? Is he a slot receiver? The question about what position Williams plays in college is almost as fascinating as what school he will play for, and it may impact that decision. When we asked his peers at Sunday’s camp which school they thought Williams would sign with, each answered with a different school.

From our perspective, though, the process seems a little clearer. Williams has a stated top eight and plans to take official visits to Missouri, Michigan and Notre Dame before the early official visit period closes. The vibe we got on Sunday suggests Michigan, and not just because he was wearing maize and blue gloves during the camp.

The pick: Michigan

2. JACK BUFORD

The situation: Michigan is a major player in Buford’s recruitment as well, with the St. Louis lineman revealing that the Wolverines were one of his dream schools growing up. The other dream school for Buford growing up, though, was Auburn, and this recruitment is starting to take on the feel of one that ends up in the SEC.

An unofficial visit is scheduled to Auburn the weekend of June 1, and a decision is coming before the season. Arkansas, where he took his first official visit to earlier this month, would also not surprise. But this is a projection that the Tigers make a strong impression and build momentum going into his summer decision.

The pick: Auburn

3. JALEN HUNT

The situation: Belleville currently has five prospects in its 2019 class with FBS offers, including linebacker Marvin Ham and athlete Julian Barnett, who have made their commitments to Boston College and Michigan State, respectively. Boston College and Michigan State just happen to be two of the top three schools in Hunt’s recruitment going into the summer, with Iowa rounding out the trio. He has never visited Boston College, and it is crucial the Eagles get him on campus soon.

Hunt does remind us from a personality standpoint of several prospects from the Detroit area that have ended up at Iowa, like All-American Desmond King. However, we predict the draw of playing with current and former Belleville teammates at Michigan State is too strong in the end.

The pick: Michigan State
