LOCAL REACTION

"To have the success they have had this week is crazy given the situation everyone is in with no campus visits. To go into the backyard of their SEC foes and land prospects of this caliber gives Tennessee great momentum. We are seeing it on social media as Tennessee has been the most talked about college program this week when it comes to recruiting. And it’s not just fans talking. It’s other prospects talking about the Vols this week. …They are continuing to work their relationships in Alabama, and Georgia is always a priority. In terms of needs, the Vols want to continue to beef up their front seven, land a quarterback and some offensive tackles” – Brent Hubbs, Volquest.com

NATIONAL REACTION

“Tennessee’s recent surge in recruiting momentum should give fans plenty of reason to be hopeful. Whether or not the Vols will be able to keep said momentum and hang on to what’s starting to look like an hyper-impressive recruiting class will hinge on how Jeremy Pruiitt’s program performs this season. A significant step forward would compound the current positive energy and give UT the chance to build a truly special class. A stumble, however, would make holding on to some of their current commits tricky.” – Rob Cassidy, Southeast recruiting analyst
