Class of 2017 four-star running back Cordarrian Richardson has had a bizarre recruitment over the past two months and the craziness didn't end on National Signing Day. After de-committing from Clemson in December, Richardson had a variety of options heading into National Signing Day, including Ole Miss, Oregon, Michigan State, Rutgers and others.

But when it came time to announce on signing day, Richardson stunned many by committing to Maryland, a school he had never even publicly discussed. The way Richardson announced his commitment was even more notable, as Bleacher Report published a video of him releasing a balloon with a camera that went into "space" only to reveal a Maryland logo.

When the Terrapins officially announced their class on Wednesday, Richardson was not included because he hadn't yet signed his letter-of-intent. Then on Thursday morning, UCF, a school that Richardson officially visited in late January, did receive his letter and promptly announced his addition to the class.

The four-star is now UCF's highest ranked signee and helped vault the Knights to the No. 1 recruiting class in the American Athletic Conference.
