Vorhees (N.J.) Eastern Regional running back/cornerback Jahre Cheeseman is beginning the process of setting up his official visits. So what lucky teams will get one?

"We're calling about that now," said Mario Robinson, the 5-foot-8, 176-pounder's step-father. "Right now Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Michigan State will hopefully be during his senior season and Penn State with be the fourth after the season. The fifth visit is still wide open."
Maryland is the leading contender for the fifth visit along with Virginia, UConn, Rutgers and Syracuse.
"Unless Florida gets involved," Robinson said. "That's a school that I know Jahre was hoping would get involved."
Virginia Tech holds a slight edge over the rest of the schools right now.
"Jahre and his mother went down and visited in the spring and fell in love," Robinson said. "They came back and he wanted to commit, but I wanted him to slow down a bit and see some places. If we go to Virginia Tech again and we all like it as much again, then maybe."
The Hokies are recruiting Cheeseman as an athlete, the same as Tennessee. Michigan State wants him as a running back while Penn State likes him as a defensive back.
"Position isn't really important," said Robinson. "Academics, how he feels and fits in, those are the important things."
As a junior, Cheeseman rushed for 1,444 yards and 20 scores while catching 14 passes for 129 yards and one more TD. He was an all-conference and all-group selection as a junior and also earned second team all-state honors.
