Five-star Armondo Blount revealed he has reclassified from the 2025 class to the 2024 class. The new Florida State commit was ranked No. 4 overall in the 2025 Rivals250.

Blount, now in the 2024 rankings, remains a five-star prospect and has been slotted at No. 20 in the 2024 Rivals250. He now ranks as the No. 7 player in the Florida state rankings and is the No. 4 strongside defensive end nationally.

Florida State has had a firm grasp on No. 1 in the conference team rankings but Miami briefly jumped the Seminoles when Blount first announced his reclassification Sunday afternoon. Once Blount went public with his commitment to Florida State, the Seminoles took over the top spot in the ACC team recruiting rankings. Florida State also moved up to No. 3 in the national team recruiting rankings.
