There were some that thought Rivals250 linebacker Aaron Hansford could be on "commit watch" during his visit to Penn State over the weekend. That was certainly not the case as the Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High standout still has a long way to go before making a commitment.

"It was fun," said the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Hansford, "I had a lot of fun with my family and friends that were there. My mom, dad and little brother were there with me. This is the second time they've been out there with me. Most of the stuff I did there I've done before. I feel like a strengthened my relationship with coach Pry, coach Huff and coach Franklin.
"I'm not that close to committing," he said. "I still have things I still want to find out before I do that. I'm still trying to figure my list out. After a couple schools started talking to me a little more, I've kind of been slacking with naming a top ten list. I'm going to give it one more week to talk to some of these coaches a little bit more."
Hansford knows of seven schools that will make his top ten.
"Oregon, Penn State, UCLA, Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, Maryland and I have to add three more," Hansford said. "I'm looking at my football schedule to see when I'll take my official visits. I don't know which ones will get visits yet because I can only choose five. I'll figure that out soon."
This visit to Penn State was Hansford's last unofficial visit for the summer.
