R100 WR talking to many schools

Rivals100 wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell has been quietly taking care of business season. The Egg Harbor City (N.J.) Cedar Creek star junior is averaging 25-yards per catch and has close to ten touchdowns already this season.
Mitchell's offer sheet is continuing to expand but there are a few schools that recruiting him harder than others.

"Recruiting is going well," said the 6-foot-2, 197-pound Mitchell. "Hopefully some schools will offer soon. North Carolina, Georgia and Michigan State have been recruiting me pretty hard. I'm also talking to coaches from Boston College and Rutgers frequently. My most recent offer was from Virginia Tech."
It seems as though Mitchell is in touch with one school the most right now.
"I talked to coach Brewer from North Carolina," he said. "North Carolina is very consistent with getting me to call them. I talked to them at least once a week. I'm getting a better relationship with them."
There is a chance Mitchell takes a visit to Penn State this weekend for the Ohio State game but that would be his first visit this season.
"I haven't been able to make any visits due to the season," Mitchell said. "I might get up to some schools close to home like Penn State, Rutgers or Pittsburgh."
Mitchell is still in the early stages of his recruitment and has yet to identify a leader or standouts.
"I don't have any favorites right now," he said. "I still need to do a lot of research on everyone and take all of my visits."
Mitchell's brother, Damon Mitchell, plays at Arkansas but the Razorbacks have not offered him yet.
