R100 OT Prince picks Bama

One opening is all Alabama needed to secure a commitment from Rivals100 offensive tackle Isaiah Prince. A spot in Alabama's recruiting class opened up on Thursday night and the Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt star didn't waste any time.
The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Prince was scheduled to take an official visit to Ohio State this weekend and an official visit to Maryland next weekend but decided to commit to the Crimson Tide during an in-home visit with Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal on Thursday night. Florida also had a chance at getting Prince to take an mid-week official visit next week.

Prince took an official visit to Alabama last weekend but was told during the visit that Alabama was not in a position to take any commitments that weekend because they had too many players already committed. On Thursday night Shreveport (La.) Woodlawn defensive tackle T.D. Moton decommitted from Alabama, opening up a spot for Prince.
The addition of Prince strengthens Alabama's hold on first place in the Rivals.com recruiting team rankings. He is the sixth offensive lineman to pick Alabama and the second offensive tackle.
Prince helped led Eleanor Roosevelt to an 11-1 record and a birth in the second round of the playoffs.
