QB Borda Will Play Waiting Game

There were some rumors going around that Bethlehem (Pa.) Catholic quarterback Mark Borda was set to end the recruiting process and commit to Maryland. Not quite.
"Maryland is the only real offer I have so far, but a lot of teams are talking about offering after the first few weeks of the season," said the 6-foot-2, 195 pound signal-caller. "I'm going to play my season and see what happens."

Borda has a long list of teams that he's interested in.
"I like SEC teams like Auburn, LSU and Tennessee," he said. "I also like Miami, UCLA, North Carolina in addition to Maryland. Purdue and West Virginia are also interesting."
Borda, who threw for nearly 3,000 yards as a junior, says he's in contact with all of the above schools.
"I expect a few more things to happen after September 1st," he said. "So I'm going to wait a little while and see what happens."
