Purdue made an early offer to Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike three-star cornerback Josh Hayes, and although he is seeing interest from other schools, they remain his sole offer.

"They have been in to see me the most, they pay me the most attention and they show the most love," Hayes said. "I talk to Coach (Gerad) Parker and Coach (Taver) Johnson and they are real cool. I'm really liking them right now. They are at the top of my list right now."
Hayes has not been able to visit Purdue in some time, but he is looking to get out to a spring practice this month with a teammate.
"I was trying to see if I could get down there on the 28th," Hayes said. "I was going to go down there with Aaron Jones."
Although the Boilermakers sit firmly at the top of his list, a decision is not expected until after the spring.
"I could see myself making an early decision, but (right now) I am just going to wait it out to see who offers me," Hayes said.
Other schools that have shown interest in Hayes include Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.
"IU said they wanted to wait until after this semester. They want to see me at a camp," Hayes said. "There are a lot of teams from the Big Ten, and then Miami (Ohio) and the Ohio Bobcats. I want to get out to see Michigan State and I want to get out to see Miami (Ohio)."
The 6-foot, 175-pound Hayes spent most of the winter in the weight room, but he will be on Pike's track team this spring running sprints and performing in the high jump and long jump.
