Sunday morning, Arizona State fired coach Todd Graham shortly after the Sun Devils defeated in-state rival Arizona. ASU is 7-5 this season. In his sixth season, Graham finished in Tempe at 46-31. Here is reaction from committed prospects following the news of Graham’s ouster:

“I'm still committed to ASU, but it will be interesting to see who will be the head coach.”

“As of right now, I am still committed. Not really sure what is going to happen. I have to talk with my family and discuss. This is just such new news I’m not sure yet if I’m gonna take a couple more visits. But I am still 100 percent with ASU right now. I don’t have any other offers besides the military academies and ASU, so I don’t really have anywhere else to go. I have a lot to think about, but I really love the coach that might come in, Kevin Sumlin, because I was being recruited a little by A&M before I committed.”

“I’m honestly not sure (where his commitment stands). I need to sit down and think about my decision.”

“I will visit other schools, (including) Washington State, Marshall, Louisville and Kentucky.”

“As long as coach (Phil) Bennett is there, I’m there. If he leaves I’m going to explore other options.”

“Right now, my commitment still stands strong with ASU. It’s sad that the coach I knew that has recruited me from the start has been fired. Really stands a big toll on me. But I’m still loyal to my team. We just have to move on and keep grinding.”

“My commitment doesn’t change at this time to the Sun Devils. (No other visits) at this time, but never know what the future may hold.”

“I’m still committed, as of right now. I’m definitely looking into other schools now, for the simple fact that there might be a complete turnover in the coaching staff.”

"I’m still committed to ASU. I was not expecting coach Graham to get fired. He has changed the program around a lot and also won the Territorial Cup last night, so I don’t think it was right for this to happen like this. So, as of right now nothing is going to change my decision of going anywhere else. Forks Up."
